Hailing from the borderlands of Tijuana and San Diego, Valentina Rubio Lopez (they/he/she + elle/el/ella) is a lover of all things audio. From music, to audiobooks, to podcasts– you’re always sure to find them wearing headphones and indulging in audio delights. They’re a current undergraduate student at Mount Holyoke College majoring in Media Studies and English, focusing her academic writing on monsters, latinidad, queerness, and irredeemably cheesy movies. When they’re not in class, most of his time is spent on WMHC, Mount Holyoke’s college radio station, where Valentina’s been proudly serving as Program Director and broadcasting their monster themed talk show. Above all else, Valentina is incredibly grateful to their family and friends, and is looking forward to a future of audio storytelling production and teaching.
